TREE IN MY BACKYARD

There is a tree in my Backyard,

I love it to be, for it is my best friend

Who listens to me,

I can hug him tight when it’s my anger that I fight.

I enjoy its shade when my day is made.

There is a tree in my backyard,

It's tall and sturdy, for me to climb on it,

It’s big and thick, for me to make a house on it.

There is a tree in my backyard, I love it to be, for it is my best friend who will be there for me,

It gives shelter from the sun, for me to play with my buddy,

It gives fruits and food, for when we are hungry.

There is a tree in my backyard, I love it to be, for it gives me fresh air to breathe,

There is a tree in my backyard, I love it to be, for he is nature's strongest soldier, who can protect me.

There are trees around us, I love them to be, for they are our best friends, let's all pledge to plant more of these.

The Mist in the air,

The sweet smell of winter,

It's a long road home & this time I am here.

The brightness of bougainvillaea,

The emptiness of big trees,

The road has the speed,

It's a long road home, a dream home to me.

My eyes want to rest,

My lungs want to breathe,

My mind wants some peace,

Its a long road home & I am here to be 

साथ नहीं फिर भी पास

आज भी दिल की धड़कन एक पल को रुक जाती है,
आज भी उसे देख चहरे पर मुस्कान छा जाती है,
कुछ चाहतें एसी होती हैं, जो जिन्दा रहती हैं,

आज भी दिल डूबता है, हाथ कांपते हैं
उसकी सोच, ठंडी हवा के झोंके सी छू जाती है,
कुछ रिश्ते ऐसे होते हैं, जो कभी पीछे नहीं छूटते

हर रिश्ते का नाम हो ये जरूरी नहीं,
हर रिश्ते का आज हो ये भी जरूरी नहीं,
कुछ रिश्ते यादों में बंद होते हैं, मोतियों की तरह अनमोल होते हैं,

उनमें मिलन की आस नहीं होती, लेकिन एहसास होते हैं
वो साथ नहीं होते फिर भी साथ होते हैं।

SASHA

Her smile melts me like chocolate,
her words are music to my ears,
her touch is like a feather tickling,
her kiss is reassuring,
she is my world, my happiness, my daughter.

When I am depressed her eyes give me hope,
When I am confused her looks give me rope,
When I am stressed her hug gives me love,
she is my world, my happiness, my daughter.

We call her Sasha, Saviour of the mankind,
She is our angel, God has blessed us with her,
